Chocolate Protein Brownies

Rich chocolate brownies made from all natural ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 3 over-ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup of smooth all natural peanut butter (I use Whole Earth)
  • 2 dessert spoons cocoa powder (more for richer brownie, less for more subtle flavour)
  • 2 scoops whey protein powder (I use the Triple Chocolate from gonutrition.com)
  • Optional: natural sweetener to taste – I like a sweet brownie so I add some Stevia.

Directions:

Stick all ingredients in a blender and whiz ’til smooth. You can mash it all up with a spoon if you don’t have a blender. If the mixture seems particularly think or dry, add a splash of almond milk. Pour batter into a pre-lined baking tin and pop in the oven at about 150 degrees for around 15-20 minutes depending on how done you like them.

Allow to cool and cut into desired sizes. Best stored in the fridge. Delicious with a dollop of Greek yogurt and a squeeze of honey.
